As for the first of the month Im thinking of starting the comp again and this time having a £10 entry fee as originally planned to make it more interesting.
Thinking the competition could last for 20 days so the winner gets the money to buy a few more Christmas presents...What does everyone reckon ???

P.S - If you want to invest in shares have a read up on a company called Indego Patroleum ( code IPL ).
There share prices is currently at 52p and have had a slight drop but they are drilling an well in Oman which, if they hit ( and it is a bit of a gamble but things are looking good ) around Christmas time, then the share price will be suspended and re-opened at an estimated £12 a share...
Ive got a few bob invested and am hoping for the best. I can give more info if anyone is actually intereted...

I had England to win 2-1...What a fool I am...At least the Welsh under 19s managed a convicing 0-0 draw with the German national team. Maybe they should re-start the home nations championships next summer so at least one of the home nations will win something...
As for shares, Ill have a look at that Goughie...

Shows there are some decent trades ( for this company anyway ) today which might suggest that someone knows something...Im very tempted to take my savings and invest them...trying not to get too silly though..Saying that, Not sure that £2.50 will buy me too much

Just had a gander at Henry Boot...
Unless you have some very good news seems to be one to avoid to me.
Property market is suffering from this credit crunch and sub-prime mortgage issues ( which is going to be around for a very long time in my opinion ) and this share has been steadily falling for the last few months ( down nearly 9% today ).
You know something that we dont then Goughie ?.
