I see the news headlines, although old is still as valid as ever :O)
How the hell did we lose that on Sunday ?....Well I think I know but will be interesting to see what the others think...

I would say we lost the game through bad defending (Everyone) lack of concentration and complacency!!

Agree with Paget...Thought we defended very badly towards the end of the game as well as deciding that the game was won and we didnt need to hold shape anymore.
Of course, the plus side is that we were creating chances and did score 6 goals which is something to take from the game at least....Just need to remember that the game is not over until the bird Pag is normally with is singing...

It wasnt a bad game of football but think its safe to say we threw it away Goughie. A few of their lads said to me at the end that they couldnt believe they had won the game...
I think, and have said many times before, that Steve does too much for the club and that he should hand some of it over to others. He has said that he would rather do it so he knows it will get done and done properly which is up to him really.
When it comes to refing the game though I think we all need to step up and take a turn ( even if it means not playing ). I know that Ive ref numerous times as has Steve, Goughie and Gearing ( I also think Clarkie and Mikey have as well but not as sure ) so maybe its time that we start picking CLUB MEMBERS out of a hat before each game where we dont have a ref. That way it will ensure that everyone takes a turn if nobody is going to offer themselves.
I admit that I did shout at Steve for one decision but that was just frustration and I apologised pretty much straight after. Some players were really having ago at him for giving decision that he believed were right...and at the end of the day, they are the correct decision whilst he is reffing.
I dont normally mention names but I think DT needs to offer Steve an apology as he was out of order in the changing room after the game ( he may have done so by now so ignore this if you have ) for having ago at him and his decisions.
As for subs, changing tactics, players positions etc etc not going to point the finger at anyone or anything seeing as its the managers decision.
Anyway, at least we all now know how fantastic I am up-front :O)
3 games, 4 goals and numerous assists...Ill say no more

I remember reffing a game against white hart and had the balls to send one of their players off!! its a tough job whoever does it and I think you just need the balls to make the decisions you think correct at the time and as much as i was frustrated I think steve did a good job.

I think your more gutted that you missed my TWO goals Gearing...( and not one as the Adver reported it...the adver also reported that we battled back in to the game before losing by 1 goal )...I know I would have been...
